The Procedure For Selection Of Candidates Are As Follows
To ensure good quality teachers at APSS, there is an elaborate system
of screening that is done every year.
Both Teaching as well as Non- teaching staff at APSS are selected
through CSB (Combined Selection Board) / LSB (Local Selection
Board).
Every year in the month of August/ September HQ AWES notifies
about the online screening test (OST) in its website for all regular as
well as contractual appointments.
Interviews are held under the aegis of Board of Administration (BOA).
The school conducts CSB interview for PGT’s, TGT’s and PRT’s for
all vacancies of ‘Regular’ appointments. These boards are held in the
month of December- February for candidates who clear OST. Selected
teachers by these boards shall be required to undergo probation for
maximum period of two years.
LSB is conducted in the month of January- March for selection of
teachers for term contract (a term not exceeding three academic
sessions). The same is also conducted in the month of May/June for
selection of teachers for ADHOC appointments tenure not exceeding
beyond the last day of current academic session.
Suitable advertisements shall be placed in Newspaper/ School website
giving out the list of vacancies as per category (PGT/TGT/PRT) and
subjects.
